a coherence commons foundation project
keep what matters.
current stage: early prototypestories, work and memories, with their origins kept alongside them.
what this is
memory is a local-first way to keep what matters: local-first means your notes, people and work live on your own device first, not inside someone else’s platform.
the prototype explores notes, people (mates) and an algorithm that helps you see connections; fractals and replay let you re-walk what you kept; capabilities keep the boundaries explicit. the aim is to help people keep and share what is meaningful — including who made it and where it came from — so work can be carried forward.
it is designed around an open client boundary with ion.ngo, so what you keep is not trapped in one app.
current stage
memory is an early prototype. it exists for evaluation, not as a released app or a service you can rely on. it becomes shareable when the evaluation says what people actually need to keep, and how sharing should work.
note: the memory.ngo domain is completing registry verification and does not resolve publicly yet. this page is served meanwhile at its hosted mirror, memory-site.zauh.workers.dev, with identical content.
what comes next
evaluate the prototype and develop the wider sharing and preservation approach.
how you could help
help test what people need to keep, explain sharing choices, or make origins easier to understand.
who is behind this
